We applied for a number of research seeds from the USDA this spring, which can be hard to be approved for as most seeds are in very limited quantities and home gardens don’t typically qualify, but ended up receiving two of our requests: the Tarheel Bean pictured here (the name pulled us to that one) and the Cajun Queen Okra. They’ll be going in the ground soon so we’ll report back on how they do and hopefully how they taste.
