It’s been awhile since our last update, when we dramatically scaled down our growing with intentions of scaling back up soon after. But we found ourselves enjoying what the smaller scale allowed, including growing our small dairy heard, beekeeping, and more time for non-farming activities big and small.

So this year we’ve gone in the opposite direction and embraced the mindset of gardening again, rather than scale, at least for the foreseeable future. To be honest, we haven’t planted anything yet, or even started seens, and don’t even have our gardening space ready.

That will change quickly in the coming weeks, but for now I’m looking forward to getting back to the basics and sharing more on what we’re up to.
